I tried some new ideas to keep kids entertained and focused during conference and it worked! I was happy. I just cut up the first presidency and apostle pictures from last conference's Ensign, (laminated with packing tape) and stuck each picture into a ziplock bag with an activity or snack. When that person spoke they'd find his picture and get to do/eat whatever was in the bag.
THEN, I taped 12 church words (Jesus Christ, Priesthood, Baptism, Faith, Repentance, Joseph Smith, Scriptures, Holy Ghost, Temples, Prayer, Atonement and Family) on the wall (each on a piece of paper) and anytime the kids heard one of those words they could put a stickers on that paper. After the snack/activity/talk was done then we'd put the picture from the bag onto whatever word paper best related to the talk. I also stuck the Ensign picture page of the quorum of the 70/bishopric up on the wall so when one of them spoke we could find their picture and circle it.
